Waste Management pledge by a 6-year-old boy

Happy Wednesday to all my friends and readers.

Recently my son was discussing waste produced by humans and asked how do we manage… It is a big question because we are in the 21st century where everything is getting automated, however, waste management is getting the biggest challenge for all nations, let’s take a “Waste Management pledge” to manage our waste smartly and efficiently.

My son Devansh Gupta

Mother earth is facing a lot of challenges related to clean environment, as a human is committing such mistakes so it is our responsibility to start work on it and take a pledge to keep our earth clean and green.

The first step is to segregate waste, see his painting and message.

We must know about waste types:

Dry Waste: It is a no moisture waste type, also known as inorganic or non-biodegradable waste. Mostly dry waste is recyclable, so it is very important to keep it in the dry bin. Dry waste includes items such as bottles, cans, clothing, plastic, wood, glass, metals and paper.

Wet Waste: It is biodegradable waste, which includes Cooked and uncooked food, fruits, vegetable peels, flower waste, and other organically decomposable waste. This waste is collected on a daily basis and can be handed over in a green bin.

E-Waste: Electronic waste products are discarded electrical or electronic devices. Used electronics that are destined for refurbishment, reuse, resale, salvage recycling through material recovery, or disposal are also considered e-waste. With the use of technology, it is one of the challenges to dispose of this type of waste.
A lot of multinational companies are coming forward to collect e-waste from your doorsteps, please visit the following links and sync with them for the e-waste collection:
1. Samsung – Care of Clean India
2. Tata Advance System: E waste management Program

Thanks, everyone for going through this information, let’s take “Waste Management Pledge”, please ensure to spread awareness at a mass level. After all, we need to work together to keep our mother earth green.

Thanks a lot.

Devansh Gupta
